Types Of Impeller
- Closed Impeller
This Type of Impeller Integrates a shroud on the suction side.
- Open Impeller
This type of Impeller has no shroud. The structure is classified into the 'semi-open stype' that extends the main plate to the impeller periphery, and a 'full-open type' that has the main plate shortened to the minimum.
- Shrouded Channel Impeller
The suction inlet and discharge outlet utilize the same passage duct. Shaped similar to a closed impeller, this type is efficient for pumping liquids that contain solids and fibrous materials.
- Vortex Impeller
This type of impeller pumps up a fluid via a vortex flow between the impeller and the casing. This structure prevents foreign objects (solids, fiber, etc). From clogging inside, thus providing a higher pass-through performance.
